NIS provides a natural and secure abode to blossoming children, providing a homely care to each individual. The hostels are located in the Residential Campus of the school. The complex has well maintained lush green gardens and is surrounded by boundary wall. Round-the-clock security ensures a safe haven for the students.
Modern and aesthetically designed, full, furnished rooms with attached toilets for boys and girls.
Life @ campus, the inner peace which is necessary for study and creativity. NIS has the fresh air ambience of a hill station and serenity of gurukul.
The school has a hostel building with three floors. Each study cum bed room has an attached bathroom and is occupied by three students. The rooms are fully furnished and well ventilated. Food court is adjacent to the hostel.
The hostel facility at present is available for students from class I to X. Hostel has a prescribed schedule in order to felicitate the maintenance of discipline and create a healthy routine. The Students are encouraged to maintain their own rooms and their belongings and keep the surroundings tidy.
Their weekends are scheduled with unlimited fun & frolic with indoor and outdoor activities, cultural programmes, picnics and leisure hours. The school supports various activities such as Sports, Light form Vocal and Instrumental, Sketching, Drawing, Painting, other Fine Arts and Crafts etc.,

Hostel Routine |

The day begins with warming up exercise followed by academic. This is follow-up by a bath and change, then breakfast. Normal classes extend till 12.30 pm with a break for lunch. A snacks at 3.45pm is followed by reading classes, by the duty teachers who teach the topic already taught in the classes. These classes are followed by compulsory games to be followed by one & half hour for self study & another half hour of free time.
After dinner the recreation time is planned to relax the mind and body of the hostellers. Seniors may continue to study for another hour or so in their rooms followed by lights off at 10 P.M. A full and satisfying day a good night sleep and then back again fresh and bright for the next day. |
